Organic Coke ... The New Health Drink??

Have you seen the new organic Coke ads? Promoting Coke as a health drink is about as absurd as promoting Genghis Khan for the Nobel Peace Prize.

If you want to drink a true health beverage, drink water not sodas, tea, Gatorade, or fruit juice. Just pure water - half your weight in ounces.

Why You Should be Drinking Water

  1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half the world population)
  2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is mistaken for hunger.

We Are Water

75 percent of the body is made up of water. Water is what allows oxygen to get into cells. Water is the conduit for cells to communicate with one another. We must drink water on a daily basis to survive, yet we all know that tap water is poison. And we are now learning that bottled water, along with being a drain on the environment, isn't healthy either.

And even if you're using reverse osmosis or charcoal filters on your tap water, you're still not drinking healthy water (it is highly acidic). Cancer and other disease states thrive in an acidic environment.
